If you plan to travel to Auckland, New Zealand, to hit a big decision. You see, I have just returned from a month’s stay in Auckland. I can tell you first hand experience is worth a visit. The city and its people are relaxed, confident and friendly.

Before leaving, however, you should know about three places to visit there. I wrote a little about each one below.

Auckland Hotspot # 1: The CBD

Auckland CBD or Central Business District is the center of the city. The main road through the area east of Queen Street you can spend all your time just to explore Auckland. During the day there are thousands of shops and cafes to visit. The culture of the street is bustling with actors, singers and artists.

At night there are many bars and restaurants for every taste. If you like wine, you’ll find that almost all restaurants have a selection of New Zealand wines with your meal.

Auckland Hotspot # 2: The Viaduct

The viaduct is part of the coast of Auckland, just off the CBD. There are dozens of incredible restaurants and bars. Enjoy a panoramic view of the harbor and the thousands of yachts and sailing boats from this view. At night this area is very busy with hungry customers. Princes Wharf project in the port of the viaduct and also has a large number of shops where you can eat and drink outdoors.

Auckland Hotspot # 3: K Road

If the party in the evening, Karangahape Road – better known simply as K’Road – the place to be. This street is perpendicular to the south side of Queen Street, just steps above the CBD. This street is known for its wild bars and nightclubs known. Things are not collected until well after 22 hours, but the madness continues into the early morning hours.

There are many other parts of the city and visit attractions in Auckland – more than enough for all who consider it to travel long occupied. The above points are a good starting point, but because they are close distance to most major hotels in Auckland and within walking distance of each other.
